Stublr Privacy Policy

Policy Effective

This policy is effective as of September 17, 2013.

The last revision was September 17, 2013.

The following Privacy Policy is a summary of how information that we request from anyone who accesses the Stublr web site (“User” or, collectively, “Users”) and information that users provide to us or other users is governed and treated while Users access and interact with the content, data, materials, information, products and services through the web site (collectively, “Stublr” or the “Stublr Site” or “the Site”) and the third party sites on which Stublr data may appear in various feeds, widgets or in other electronically transmitted and displayed form (collectively, the “External Network”).

Please do not access any other pages until you have read this Privacy Policy carefully as your access to and use of the Site is an agreement bound by this Privacy Policy. If you do not accept the terms of this Privacy Policy, then please do not use the Site. Additionally, use of this site is an agreement to be bound by the Terms of Use, so please also read that document.

Stublr contains many links to third party sites. This Privacy Policy only covers use of Stublr and does not apply once you have clicked through to a third party site. On third party sites, you are governed by their privacy policy. We do not pass third party ticket providers or any other partners your private identifying information. However, it is likely that they independently track what web site you were referred by.

We may make changes to this Privacy Policy at any time by posting such changes on this page. When changes are made, you will be notified by being asked to re-accept the Terms and Privacy Policy. You are expected to read and agree to the new Terms and Privacy Policy before continuing use of the site and in most cases you will not be able to access the site without re-accepting the policies.

Your Privacy on Stublr

Stublr is a service that provides information and tools that help you obtain and discuss tickets for live entertainment events. We attempt to tailor your experience on Stublr to your specific needs and preferences. In order to have the best experience on Stublr, it is to your advantage to share information with us, other users (and potential users) of the site and in some cases, third party web sites and the services they provide. We understand you may not want some people to have the information you share on our site. As such, we give you controls to determine how and with whom your information is shared. Further, we do not require you to use your real name on the site.

Your activity feed is a published list of your activities and interactions on the site. Activities such as joining the site, becoming friends with other users, and posting content are published and displayed on your profile, the site activity feed and in other places on the site, and in our External Network, when your privacy settings allow us to do so. We do this to support your efforts in finding and discussing tickets for live events.

No Competition Guarantee

We know that many users are concerned that ticket industry web site owners look at their private information to extract trade secrets or information about companies. We do not do that and offer a no competition guarantee. Owners, employees and contractors of Stublr are expressly prohibitted from participating in regular buying and reselling of tickets as a full or part-time business. Though we may occasionally resell a ticket we purchased, it is on a limited basis equivalent to what a normal, non-professional fan might do. We feel strongly that it is important that you can safely share and store information without competitors getting access to it without your permission, therefore, this policy is enforced fully. If you think a Stublr agent is professionally buying and reselling tickets, please report it to and we will investigate the situation and cease relations with the agent if we find they are violating the No Competition Guarantee.

Private Forums

Private forums and other conversation tools that provide limited visibility are intended to allow you to share content with only a very specific set of people. Please be aware that if you participate in private forums, some aspects of your control of your content will fall in the hands of the forum moderator. For example, if you post content to a private forum and the forum moderator then invites a new user that you may or may not know, that new user will be able to see your content. While you can delete any of your posts, there is not guarantee that you will be able to delete it before it is seen by the new user. We encourage all users to discuss with forum moderators their rules for bringing in and announcing new member invitations. However Stublr cannot and will not enforce or porport to enforce any ‘house rules’ arrived at or proclaimed by the private forum moderators or other members of the private forum.

Further, you should know that if a user is invited to a forum they may be able to see the forum description and a list of current members before joining. They will NOT, however, be able to see any content that has been posted in the forum discussions. Additionally, although we generally have better things to do, site admins may, from time to time, monitor private forums for the purpose of enforcing TOS guidelines and for puposes related to the health and well-bieng of the site and our company. It is important to emphasize that, unlike many other presale site owners, we are NOT professional ticket sellers and do not fish for trade secrets.
